Native Pollinator Workshop

April 12, 2014 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Find out what all the buzz is about!

Learn about native pollinators—why they’re important and how you can help support them.

Ann Fraser, Associate Professor of Biology at Kalamazoo College with a research focus on biodiversity of insects will lead the workshop. Each participant will receive a kit and instructions to assemble their own bee house.

NOTE: The workshop is now full. You might be interested in the following upcoming area events related to native pollinators:

  • May 7 – VanBuren Conservation District is hosting a presentation at the Paw Paw Library, here’s  link: http://vanburencd.org/events/upcoming/
  • May 31 – Kalamazoo County 4-H is hosting a public event at Riverview Launch to install a Native Bee Condo and a pollinator garden. I’ve attached a flyer about that event.
