Permaculture Action/Education Day April 29th!

A group effort at the Midwest Permaculture One-Day Course

NOTE: SCHEDULE CHANGED TO ACCOMMODATE THE CLIMATE MARCH

Permaculture Action Day, Saturday April 25th (Suggested donation $15)
9:00 – Noon First Steps in Permaculture. Learn how to get started with Permaculture and Forest Gardening:
– Best investments for a more resilient, self-reliant lifestyle,
– Best perennial vegetables for Michigan,
– Best nut and fruit tree crops for Michigan,
– Presentations on local Permaculture designs and projects!
– Permaculture Tips on the easiest ways4 to garden.

2:00 Climate Change March

Community Garden Plots Available:
Sizes up to 400 Square Feet for new and experienced gardeners.
Applications available at VanKalPermaculture.org or through the CORE Facebook Page.
Applications will also be available at our Spring work days:

Community Garden/ Forest Garden Orientation and Work Days:
Tuesday the 25th from 1-4pm and on the 26th from 2-5pm.
Saturday April 29th. From 9 – noon.
Orientation to get you started with one of our community garden/forest garden plots. We will have student workers and some tools available on these days. We will be assigning plots, giving an orientation on garden and site rules, and starting to prep garden beds.
