Pushing Through the Pavement at Riverview Launch
October 26, 2014 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Free Food Project in Kalamazoo plans to install a natural permaculture-based walkway in the community lined with a grand over-story of Champion Sequoia trees, a diversity of native perennials, and other winter-hardy plants that will thrive for future generations. The Riverview Launch site, where we will be planting the food forest, is intended for community use and will soon begin hosting educational programs in conservation and sustainable resource use, as well as youth programming in horticulture and environmental stewardship. The goal of the Eastwood Permaculture Walkway is to create a new urban green space that provides both food and beauty to an underserved community, and the project needs your help!
The Kalamazoo Permaculture Action Day is honored to welcome DAVID MILARCH from Archangel Tree Archive to be our Keynote speaker for the event! You can read about David’s work saving the planet through champion trees at http://
